why stay at El Crucero instead of other Tulum hotels or cabañas on the beach?

BEACHES: The beaches of Tulum are second to none. Soft white sand, bathtub-warm water, sunny skies . . . what more can you ask for? It is also perfect for sandcastles like this one we built the other day.

RUINS: The Yucatan Peninsula is dotted with the relics of the ancient Mayan civilization. While Tulum's ruins are undoubtably the most picturesque, the nearby sites of Coba, Chichen Itza, and Xel-Ha are definitely worth a visit.

CENOTES: The world's three largest underwater cave systems make the Tulum area a hotspot for cave and cavern divers. We also recommend them for snorkeling or a cool plunge on a hot day. Very refreshing

SIAN KA'AN:
One of Mexico's largest conservation areas is located just south of Tulum. The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is home to hundreds of species of birds and mammals and has been designated a UN World Heritage Site.
